Every calculator on this site is provided for general informational and educational purposes only. Results are estimates based on the formulas and data described on each calculator's page. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified financial advisor, doctor, accountant, tax professional, teacher, or engineer, as relevant to the tool.
Financial calculators
Loan, mortgage, interest, tax, and salary calculators use standard formulas but cannot account for your complete financial picture, your lender's specific terms, or the latest changes to tax law. Always confirm figures with your lender, payroll provider, or a tax professional before making a financial decision.
Health calculators
BMI, BMR, body fat, water intake, and pregnancy due date calculators provide general estimates, not medical assessments. They cannot account for individual health conditions, medications, or body composition factors like muscle mass. They are not a diagnosis and should not guide medical decisions — talk to a doctor or other qualified health professional for that.
AP exam score estimators
Our AP score calculators (Lang, Bio, Chem, World History, Calculus AB) use historical approximations of how raw scores convert to the final 1–5 score. The College Board does not publish official cutoffs before scores are released each year, and cutoffs shift slightly from year to year based on exam difficulty. Treat these results as a ballpark, not a guarantee — especially near a score boundary.
State paycheck calculators
The Washington, Maryland, and Arkansas paycheck calculators use simplified federal and state tax brackets and do not account for pre-tax deductions (401k, health insurance), local taxes beyond what's shown, or your specific W-4 withholding elections. They will not match your actual paycheck exactly. Use your pay stub or a payroll provider for precise figures.
Fitness test calculators (PFT, ERA, etc.)
The USMC PFT calculator uses baseline age-bracket standards for illustration; official scoring varies by age and is governed by current Marine Corps orders. Always check the current official scoring tables for a record score. The ERA and other sports calculators use standard formulas and are accurate given correct inputs.
Currency converter
The currency calculator uses a fixed reference rate table, not a live feed, and is intended for rough estimates only. Do not use it for trading, invoicing, or any time-sensitive financial transaction — use a live-rate source for that.
